Hi all,

I am attending my first support meeting on Monday in Gateshead at the civic centre, where there is a talk from two OT's. I am really looking forward to going, not only for further info, but to meet people in similar circumstances.

The reason I have posted is to ask if anyone on this site is local to this, or attending, it would be nice to meet! Blushing

Just read your post Petra, Sorry i am not from your area i am Luton/Bedrordshire way.

But like you i have just started attending my local support group, there have been 2 so far i missed second one, i am hoping to attend the third its a quiz and a fish supper, money raised is for RAISE IT DAY! the only problem for me is that i have no one to go with, and i always find it daunting arriving on my own its daft i know.

Well Petra, as that was an old post all i can say is i hope you had a great time and are able to attend many more. RollEyes
